The Office of the Municipal Agriculturist  of Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte headed by its Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Gerardo D. Candelasa, with the Special Program of  Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) spearheaded by the Project Officer Jolito Cadavedo,  conducted a Farmer Field School (FFS) at Purok Kamansi, Brgy. Luyoran, Katipunan, this Municipality.

The said training was on the production of organic fertilizer for vegetable farming such as eggplant, cucumber, sweet pepper and ampalaya. It  started on June 09, 2018 and will last until September 2018. Classes conducted every Tuesday of the week at 8:00 o’clock in the morning to 12:00 noon with the participation of 30 farmer students.
